Tim is een jonge saxofonist die zich heel erg veelzijdig weet neer te zetten. Perfect voor elke gelegenheid. Hij is erg flexibel en dus de oplossing voor jouw feestje.
Geïnspireerd door het geluid van de bekende jazzsaxofonist Sonny Rollins besloot hij dit te doen en hiermee verder te gaan. Hij speelt naast saxofoon ook klarinet, basklarinet en dwarsfluit. Hij studeerde op de muziekschool Parnas te Leeuwarden en heeft daar 9 jaar les gehad van saxofonist Anne Zwaga, hierna nog 4 jaar bij Kees Romers. Na deze muziekschool studeerde hij op het Friesland College afdeling D´drive richting artiest muziek. Daarna is hij naar het Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen gegaan waar hij in 2017 is afgestudeerd. Hij kreeg hier les o.a. van Miguel Martinez en Jan Schoenmaker. Dit heeft hij gedaan omdat hij jazzmuziek heel fascinerend vindt en om de vrije maar doch swingende stijl die naar voren komt.

Voor langere optredens komt er per uur € 50,- bij.
Buiten Friesland komen er reiskosten bij.
Hij heeft ondertussen meegespeeld met het groot Parnasorkest, Noordpoolorkest, het jong Metropoleorkest en met Bigband Que onder leiding van Willem Aukema. Hij beheerst veel verschillende soorten stijlen muziek zoals jazz, rock, pop maar ook dance en house-muziek. Hij speelt een soort van house-muziek regelmatig met dj’s op feesten!

Tim exceeded expectations! This for several reasons, besides the fact that he can play the saxophone very well and beautifully. He has a very wide range of genres he can use. Each time he chose the genre that perfectly matched the moment of the wedding. During the party he walked through the audience, very nice and atmosphere-enhancing. He also took the role of DJ during the drinks party to continue the genre and mood during his break. All in all we are very happy with Tim and found it an enrichment of our wedding ?

September 2023, Synagoge Coevorden
During the Open Monuments Day at the same time the Jewish Cultural Heritage Day, the Klezmer duo cheerfully and passionately did several performances in The Synagogue, on the market at various terraces in Coevorden.
