Three professional jazz musicians combine their love for Brazilian music with their background in improvised music. This trio gives its own modern interpretation of the energetic, danceable samba by mixing it with virtuoso jazz ensemble playing.
Trio dos Anciões was founded in Feb. 2020 by three jazz musicians, who met at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. The versatility of the musicians means that the atmosphere can be adapted to the occasion: do you want a sultry summer evening on Copacabana beach, where warm bossa nova sounds echo? Or yet prefer a lavish carnival in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The type of repertoire and intensity can be fully customized to your needs.

Recommended! The Adrien Losco Quartet played at our wedding during a Saturday afternoon drink and they really set the right atmosphere. The music is very good and cheerful and sets the tone. On the other hand, everyone can just have their conversation, so it is not too present. The contact beforehand was also very professional and clear, and the group is very flexible and likes to adapt to the schedule so that everything runs smoothly. When we left with a boat, the saxophonist even walked with us for a while and played a nice tune. In short: do you want some great background music for your wedding / party with real musical people? Then be sure to think about booking this quartet, we enjoyed them!
