Mijn muziek is puur en eerlijk en uit het hart geschreven. De teksten die ik schrijf gaan over onderwerpen waar ik mensen mee wil inspireren.
Die inspiratie vind ik in de wereld om mij heen. Het leukste is om van die 'eye-opener' teksten te schrijven, over onderwerpen zoals vrijheid, het kind in jezelf terugvinden of je dromen achterna gaan. Door me kwetsbaar op te stellen in mijn performance en mijn muziek kan ik niets anders dan mezelf zijn; zingen doe ik altijd met veel gevoel. Mensen zeggen vaak dat ze geraakt worden door mijn stem. Dat is voor mij één van de mooiste complimenten om te ontvangen.
Naast mijn eigen muziek speel ik regelmatig covers uit de jaren '60 en '70; ik kan me erg vinden in de puurheid van de artiesten uit deze tijd. Mijn grootste inspiratiebronnen zijn: Janis Joplin, Nina Simone, Melanie en
Joni Mitchell.
Afwijkende prijsafspraken:
- Bruiloften: rond 800 euro afhankelijk van hoelang ik moet spelen. Ik kan zingen tijdens de ceremonie en bij de borrel/het feest..
- Bruiloft: U ontvangt een overzicht met 15 keuzenummers. Wilt u een verzoeknummer dan kunt u die aanvragen. 3 verzoeknummers schenk ik.
- Ik ben ook te boeken met band, hiervoor liggen de kosten rond de 1000 euro, afhankelijk van hoelang het optreden is. Mijn band bestaat uit 5 man: accordeon, gitaar, elektrische gitaar, bas/contrabas, drums, akoestische gitaar en zang.

Als een zonnestraal reist Lotte de wereld over om haar muziek naar de mensen toe te brengen. Haar album “Sunflower” nam haar vanuit het Limburgse landschap mee tot in Nashville en Guatemala. De inspiratie uit de vele reizen bracht haar terug naar the “Good Old Days” waar haar voorliefde al jaren ligt. De tijd van de samenzang, iconische instrumenten en de liefde voor de muziek. Met een warm hart voor artiesten als Joni Mitchell en Melanie Safka schreef Lotte het afgelopen jaar verschillende nieuwe nummers. Zo werd haar single ‘Let It Flow’ bijna 12 miljoen (!) keer beluisterd.
Singer-songwriter Lotte Walda valt op door haar catchy melodieën, rake teksten en haar authentieke, innemende stem. Met haar muziek wil Lotte Walda inspireren. Stuk voor stuk ademen de nummers van haar nieuwe album ‘Dragonfly’ dankbaarheid, liefde en hoop voor een betere toekomst voor ons allemaal. Inmiddels is haar tweede album ‘Dragonfly’ met daarop 18 nummers geïnspireerd op de natuur en al haar bijzondere reizen uitgekomen.
Haar liefde voor muziek ontwikkelt Lotte al op jonge leeftijd. In huize Walda staat de muziek nooit uit. Lotte zingt eerder dan dat ze kan praten! Op haar 11e krijgt ze haar eerste zangles. Haar moeder stimuleert haar mee te doen aan talentenjachten. De afgelopen jaren werd Lotte bekend door haar deelname aan Giels Talentenjacht, Kunstbende en haar optredens op onder andere Pinkpop en Paradiso!
Lotte noemt zichzelf een oude ziel door haar voorliefde voor 60’s & 70’s muziek en vintage kleding. Ze wordt geïnspireerd door folk singer-songwriters uit met name het Amerika, maar evengoed door haar reizen, de mensen waar ze mee omgaat en de huidige generatie artiesten met een boodschap (Zaz, Jack Johnson, Rising Appalachia).
Album
‘Dragonfly’ verschijnt in een zeer bijzondere, dubbele vinyl uitgave met gekleurd vinyl. Kant A en B vormen de zon met een lente- en zomerzijde en kant C en D vormen de maan met een herfst- en winterzijde.
Het album is geproduceerd door twee generaties Bombrini die beiden al ruimschoots hun sporen in de muziek hebben verdiend. Gino Bombrini (o.a. YinYin, Komodo) ontfermde zich over de ene helft van de songs en zijn vader Angelo Bombrini (o.a. The Cooder Connection) nam de andere helft van de productie voor zijn rekening. De muzikaliteit van de Bombrini’s sluit goed aan bij de songs van Lotte en zij zorgen gezamenlijk voor de warme, natuurlijke sfeer die de songs kenmerken.

Lotte performed at the wedding of me and my wife. We were and still are very impressed by her beautiful voice. Already when listening to music fragments on youtube in advance, we were captivated by it. We heard the same from several guests who were at the wedding. They too thought it was a very nice performance and were impressed by Lottes voice. Some people also recognized her from Giel Beelens talent show. Probably a lot of people will recognize her in a few years time. She is also very happy with that.

Last Sunday Lotte performed on my mother's birthday and she managed to silence 96 people. Lotte has a beautiful voice and effortlessly accompanies herself on the guitar.
