Geboren in 1965. Hoofdinstrument Contrabas, daarnaast Basgitaar & Gitaar, mandoline zang , ukelele zingende zaag etc.
Ik speel jazz, maar ook klassiek (symfonieorkest), pop-rock-funk en theatermuziek. Ervaring met oa operette producties, Musicals,Tango orkest en diverse pop-bands.
Tevens ben ik free-lanceauteur.
Naast musicus ben ik ook docent. Ik doceer muziek op de middelbare school, gitaar en (contra) bas voor de muziekschool. Ook voer ik (onderwijs) projecten voor div muziekscholen
Verder componeer ik muziek voor kinderen maar ook voor volwassenen. Op verzoek schrijf ik ook muziek voor speciale gelegenheden, feesten, of themaweken .

Toll!!! Tolle Kommunikation! Ernest hat ein wunderschönes persönliches Lied für meine Eltern geschrieben, die 60 Jahre verheiratet waren! Er hat auch ein paar Wunschlieder gespielt. Danke, Ernest!!!

Die Kommunikation vor der Aufführung war sehr schwierig. Telefonisch war er nicht erreichbar. Keine Antwort auf die persönliche E-Mail des Künstlers. Über die Buchungsplattform Showbird erhielten wir 3 Tage im Voraus eine Nachricht mit der Bitte um Informationen über den Aufführungsort. Darauf gab es keine substanzielle Antwort, außer einer Nachricht 2,5 Stunden vor dem Termin, dass die Informationen eingegangen seien. Bis dahin war ich im Ungewissen, ob der Künstler kommen würde. Der Auftritt des Künstlers war wie erwartet. Nettes Outfit und angenehme Interaktion mit dem Publikum.

Ernest is an entertainer pur sang. He writes tailor-made lyrics and gets the whole company singing along. As a minstrel / troubadour he does something few people can do nowadays: make a group sing and laugh. The best present when there is something to celebrate!

Ernest wrote a wonderful personal song based on my inputs and performed it in honor of my father's 95th birthday at lunch with all his children and grandchildren. The whole group was involved in the song. Ernest played on the lute for accompaniment. Very warm and festive. Top.

Op basis van onze informtie is het Ernest gelukt een grappig/mooi persoonlijk lied te schrijven. Het contact voorafgaand was heel prettig en het optreden was fantastisch!! De sfeer zat er goed in en hij kreeg iedereen mee. Een aanrader als je iemand in het zonnetje wil zetten/wil verassen. Nogmaals bedankt!

Ernest first performed on Klingelpoort for a small group of residents. They found it beautiful all those medieval songs with lute. Some residents could sing along. Then Ernest went to Hoogstede because there was the biggest group of residents. A compliment that Ernest was so flexible!

Another nice performance by the mistreel with lute. He played music at every table inside during the high tea. Afterwards he sang medieval songs for the residents outside. There is plenty of singing and clapping.

Because of the corona circumstances he could not sing, only make music. Together with the Lakekeeper we had booked he went to the living quarters It was also nice that he brought his girlfriend. She danced and clapped along in a medieval outfit Later that day the weather was better and they played and danced four songs with the lute for a small group of residents outside in the courtyard garden.
