Only the Sixties is een waanzinnig leuk duo die de zestiger jaren geheel doet her beleven.
Niet alleen de onwijs goede muziek uit die tijd maar ook de looks worden perfect weergegeven.
Only the Sixties is ook als trio ( zangeres ) te boeken.
Zoals de naam het al zegt wordt u meegenomen naar de tijd waar de beat muziek zijn oorsprong vond. De tijd dat de Beatles voor een ware revolutie zorgde en in hun kielzog heel veel bands werden opgericht. Natuurlijk The Rolling Stones maar ook The Hollies, The Mokey’s , The Kinks , The Spencer Davids Group enz enz…………Dit zijn er maar een paar die Only the Sixties dan ook laat horen. Ook de flower power met San Francisco van Scott McKenzie of a whiter shade of pale van Procol Harum. Maar ook van Nederlandse bodem, Armand en Rob De Nijs ,Peter en zijn Rockers en ja niet te vergeten Johnny Lion met zijn Sophietje. En
natuurlijk de nog steeds veel gevraagde muziek van the Cats. Het komt allemaal voorbij. Alleen de allergrootste hits worden gespeeld, dus geen onbekende liedjes.
Natuurlijk zullen wij ons nog even voorstellen.
Wim Meulman, woont in Zwaag N Holland en is echt geen onbekende in Noord Holland en ook in het snabbel circuit is hij altijd een veel gevraagde drummer. Na een afgeronde conservatorium opleiding is hij bij menig band de drummer geweest. Daar naast heeft Wim ook jaren lang drum les gegeven. Wim is niet alleen een fantastische drummer maar ook op gitaar weet hij zijn mannetje te staan. Bij Only the Sixties speel Wim dan ook gitaar en uiteraard ook zang.
Peter Bormann, woont in Purmerend en is ook een man waar muziek met de paplepel is ingegoten. Hij heeft in meerdere bands gespeeld en heeft ook zijn eigen bands gehad. Zijn eerste optreden was samen met zijn broer toen hij twaalf jaar oud was. Peter is zanger gitarist toetsenist en heeft ook zijn eigen studio waar hij als producer ook wel de weg weet.
Wim en Peter spelen al heel veel jaren samen en zijn volledig op elkaar ingespeeld. De Muziek wordt in de eigen studio gemaakt en life bij de optredens gebruikt. Beiden spelen daar hun gitaar partijen bij en natuurlijk de zang. U ziet er dus twee maar u krijgt een volledige band en wel met de exacte sound van toen. Maar dat is voor Wim en Peter niet genoeg! Zij verkleden zich meerdere malen op een avond en wel helemaal in de stijl die bij de muziek hoort. Daar naast zijn het twee ras echte entertainers die absoluut tot het uiterste gaan om u te vermaken.
Maar het kan nog gekker!!
Het is mogelijk om Only the Sixties ook als trio te boeken. Miss C een fantastische zangeres die al heel lang met Peter en Wim werkt en regelmatig met hun mee gaat voor optredens.
Houd u er wel rekening mee dat genoemde prijzen zijn gebaseerd op duo. Dus voor trio op aanvraag.

Abba Tribute Super Trouper was a guest at Kieldrecht (Belgium) on Friday and gave a fantastic performance. They had the difficult task of being the first band to perform, but got the audience on their hands from the start. With a well thought out playlist, they worked steadily towards a beautiful ending. Top notch performance!

This was the second year in a row that we booked this band for our association's closing party. All students found this act to be the highlight of the evening. With fun costumes and awesome hits they know how to turn the whole room upside down. Contact beforehand was also very pleasant and I would definitely book them again. Super thanks!!!

On Friday 13 June 2025, we enjoyed a fantastic ABBA tribute by the band Super Trouper during the Havenfeest in Leimuiden. It was boiling hot, which made the performance extra challenging. The large stage was in the blazing sun, while the smaller stage was still being dismantled just before the performance - which looked a bit messy and caused distraction. Despite the heat and the circumstances, the atmosphere remained pleasant. What made a deep impression was the dedication of the band members. Without cooling, under a black cloth, they gave everything. And that while the heat even played tricks on the spectators. Despite everything, the performance was a pleasure to watch. The passion and craftsmanship of Super Trouper radiated from it. A deep bow to these top performers! (via E-mail)

Nice, experienced performers! They sang and played the most beautiful 60s songs. We had chosen music in the background but I am convinced that the duo can also build a party. From the wedding guests we got very nice comments about the music.

These 4 toppers are guaranteed to blow your roof off! I have enjoyed all the top songs for the 2nd time already. From dance moves to outfits, this tribute band has it all and of high quality. This band makes everyone sing along and gets all the feet off the floor. I enjoyed it again and hopefully I will see them again soon!

The performers were very nice and thoughtful people. While it certainly wasn't bad, I wouldn't give the vocal quality a 10. However, in view of the atmosphere, they did make it a very pleasant evening and put on a successful party.
