Anna Choi is een veelzijdige bandoneonist die de rauwe passie van Argentijnse tango verbindt met klassieke precisie en wereldmuziek. Anna Choi genoot haar muzikale opleiding aan Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Rotterdam en het Conservatoire Edgar-Varèse in Frankrijk. Sinds haar studie heeft zij een internationale carrière opgebouwd met optredens op gerenommeerde podia in steden als Amsterdam, Parijs en Seoul. Hierdoor heeft zij zich bewezen als een vakkundige solist en een gewaardeerde partner in diverse ensembles.

Haar artistieke visie wordt mede gevoed door een achtergrond in de literatuur. Dit stelt haar in staat om verder te kijken dan de techniek; zij weeft een narratief in haar muziek dat zowel emotioneel gevoelig als intellectueel prikkelend is. Anna Choi is a versatile bandoneonist who combines the raw passion of Argentine tango with classical precision and world music. Trained at top conservatories in Rotterdam and Paris, she brings an atmospheric and professional musical experience to every stage. Her playing is characterised by a unique combination of technical mastery and poetic depth.

Anna Choi received her musical education at Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam and the Conservatoire Edgar-Varèse in France. Since completing her studies, she has established an international career with performances at renowned venues in cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, and Seoul. This experience has proven her a skilled soloist and a valued collaborator in various ensembles.
