De Formatie brengt pure energie — mashups, meezingers en totale live-chemie. Geen backingtracks, geen regels, alleen een kolkende zaal en een band die alles geeft.
De Formatie is wat er gebeurt als drie jeugdvrienden het podium omtoveren tot hun speeltuin.
Waar veel coverbands vasthouden aan backingtracks en vaste formats, doet De Formatie het anders. Alles wat je hoort, is live. Geen computers, geen kliktrack, geen veilige volgorde. Het publiek bepaalt de richting, en de band vliegt mee. Hun kracht zit in pure energie, mashups die de bocht uit vliegen maar perfect landen, onverwachte overgangen en meezingers die iedereen aan het dansen krijgen.
De chemie tussen Joris, Jorrit en Wouter is het resultaat van jaren vriendschap en samen muziek maken. Ze voelen elkaar feilloos aan op het podium. Dat zie je, dat hoor je, dat voel je.
Met full band brengt De Formatie een liveshow vol humor, energie
en publieksinteractie. Van festival tot bedrijfsfeest — nooit twee keer hetzelfde, maar altijd één ding zeker: een onvergetelijk feestje.

We enjoyed The Formation immensely! What a wonderful mix of music, they had the room on their hands from the first song. The turnout was great, set the tone for the rest of the evening. We would definitely recommend expanding the band to 5 people for even more volume, we really enjoyed WAY more together with all our family and friends! Thank you so much!!!

Super leuke band. Hebben voor de perfecte sfeer op onze bruiloft gezorgd, waardoor iedereen van jong tot oud op de dansvloer stond en het feest van af het begin meteen goed los ging. Prettige directe communicatie vooraf. Kortom; niet meer twijfelen, gewoon boeken!

Wat hebben we genoten! De Formatie trad op tijdens ons eindfeest van het lustrum van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in de grote hal van de Suiker. Studenten, alumni, professoren en medewerkers samen op de dansvloer tijdens een heel veelzijdig optreden. De sfeer zat er écht goed in. Een combinatie van Nederlandstalige en internationale meezingers zweepte het publiek lekker op. Voor herhaling vatbaar! Bedankt jongens!

We hired the Formation for our wedding anniversary. Our idea was a wonderful casual party and the Formation managed to finish it with a great performance. The Formation feels the atmosphere in the room well and plays with great pleasure to contemporary hits and golden oldies. Sing along, jump and dance. The communication with the Formation in advance is fine and they are open to request songs and other favorites. Highly recommended if you want to build a nice party!

The Formation made it a real party at the conclusion of our soccer tournament. The atmosphere and the type of songs were exactly what we were looking for and there was a nice build-up. The contact with the band went very smoothly which was nice during the preparation but also afterwards. Highly recommended!

I found it quite difficult... choosing a band for our wedding. Our garden would be transformed into a kind of mini festival and I wanted a young, cozy band. After a long search and having contact with several bands, I ended up with the gentlemen of the Formation. The contact was very pleasant from the beginning. Everything went relaxed and soon my friend and I decided to just go for it. After all, it was still a gamble. But wow! What a surprise they gave us. The whole evening was perfect. They sensed exactly the atmosphere and responded wonderfully. I have had so many compliments from the guests with what a nice band, what they do well ect. I myself have been dancing all evening. It's just that you have to pass by some of the guests from time to time, but I enjoyed myself so much. Everything was right and once they were done no one was tired of them. They were a great success and I would book them again for any upcoming party or recommend them to friends. Great! So if you are still in doubt... just book them! They are worth it!
