Gypsy Jazz met Franse Zanger. Pierre & les Optimistes spelen die heerlijke jaren '30-'40 swing. Zij spelen zowel op festivals als café, bruiloften, verjaardagen, jubilea, bedrijfsfeestjes, lindy hop en balboa evenementen, kortom overal waar gefeest kan worden.
Lekker rustig of juist hoge tempos, alles is mogelijk. Het repertoire bestaat uit eigen werk, covers uit de Franse en Amerikaanse jazz, en uit de gypsy jazz wereld, denk aan tracks van Louis Prima, Armstrong, Charles Trénet, Yves Montand, maar vooral aan Django Reinhardt. De band bestaat uit zanger/slag gitarist Pierre Laernoes, Violiste, Myrthe van De Weetering en Contrabassist Vincent Arp.
De band kan worden uitgebreid tot quartet, quintetm sextet septet etc met gitaar ,accordeon, sax, clarinet, trompet, trombone, piano...
De gegeven prijs is op basis van een opreden van 60 minuten en is een indicatie. Laat je wensen achter in de aanvraag!
Wij kunnen dus uitbreiden, maar ook als duo komen. Ook kunnen we 1, 2, 3, 4, 5sets spelen.

Fantastic band! Perfect for our wedding. Pierre & Les Optimistes felt the atmosphere of the evening very well, and on top of that they are fantastic musicians. For our wedding Pierre & Les Optimistes turned out to be the perfect band. You would plan a new party on the spot to invite these men to a new one. In terms of style they fitted perfectly with our location and with our guests. But we think these guys are in place everywhere. Just very musical, great voices, wonderfully cheerful and swinging. They sensed the atmosphere and audience well and built the perfect party with us! Our farewell song was a beautiful ending to a dream wedding!

Pierre et les Optimistes played at a networking event and were intended as background music to add atmosphere, but they were so great some people stopped to come over and watch, listen and dance. Excellent laid-back music that built to some fast-paced, fun songs. Pleasure to work with, would highly recommend.
