SCHEEPSKAMEEL mixt opzwepende Balkanmuziek met tranentrekkende Roma-traditionals en moddervette ska-ritmes.
Hun muziek is voorzien van oer-Hollandse teksten over onderwerpen waar zigeuners graag en veelvuldig over zingen: liefde (en de vaak schrijnende onmogelijkheid ervan), drank, dans en vuur.
De band bestaat sinds begin 2016. Het is een bont gezelschap afkomstig uit het circus, het theater en gewoon van de straat. Zij vinden elkaar in hun liefde voor feest en melancholie.
SCHEEPSKAMEEL brengt aanstekelijke, dansbare muziek, met een weemoedige ondertoon en een knipoog.
Met Gipsy-, Balkan- en Klezmer invloeden is Scheepskameel ideaal voor op festivals, concerten en feesten.

David booked at my husband's party who turned 60. David seeks to connect with the guests. His music is varied. He tastes the atmosphere and plays accordingly. David also played the guitar in between. In short, very successful musical atmosphere.
