With a harp in her hands, Inge Louisa brings music to life – full of colour, emotion, and timeless beauty. Her unique performances take audiences on a journey through history, blending traditional Irish and Scottish repertoire with the elegance of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Whether at a wedding, ceremony, funeral, dinner, reception, or themed event, she creates an unforgettable atmosphere of grace and enchantment.
Inge is praised for the way she connects with her audience, moving effortlessly between classical and traditional folk sounds.
When desired, she can also combine her performance with traditional singing, adding an even more intimate and authentic dimension.
Her passion for the harp began at the age of nine, leading to years of study and refinement. She graduated with distinction from the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2023, after training under renowned harpists Erika Waardenburg and Gwyneth Wentink.
Inge has been awarded prizes at national and international competitions, including the Rosa Spier Harp Competition (2022), the AMPA Willem Twee Talent Award (2019), and the O’Carolan Festival in Ireland. She has performed on prestigious stages such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and de Doelen
Rotterdam, appeared on Dutch television (Podium Klassiek), and played with leading ensembles including Sinfonia Rotterdam.
What drives her most is the power of music to touch hearts. Through the harp, Inge Louisa invites her listeners to step back in time — to experience the beauty, grace, and spirit of past centuries, brought vividly into the present.
