Avadant is a graduation solo act by Laura Savolainen, a Finnish circus artist specializing in tight wire and hula hoops. Savolainen started with circus already at the age of 8 in a local youth club in her hometown but after truly falling in love with the art form she decided to make it into her career. This lead her to professional circus studies first in Finland and later on in Sweden.
In spring 2024, Savolainen finally graduated from her BA studies at the well renowned University of Arts in Stockholm. As her final studying project the created the act "Avadant", an 8 minute tight wire piece cultivating her artistic world and collection of the impressions and ides she had gathered during her years with circus.
