The formation The Bounty Hunters is one of the best Dutch rock bands. This sparkling trio makes many festivals, pubs and squares completely go crazy. The three musicians of The Bounty Hunters are known for their incredibly energetic performances, musical skills and showmanship. They know better than anyone how to involve the audience in the show.

The then 20-year-old Frisian Johannes Rypma effortlessly made it to the finals in The Voice of Holland 2012 for the Nick & Simon team. In the end Johannes came second. Prior to his participation in The Voice of Holland, Johannes already performed frequently with a band. Johannes has always dreamed of a career in music. To achieve that goal, he decided to join The Voice of Holland. At least once in his life he wanted to try to break through through a talent show. So that became The Voice.

After having performed with the tape for some time in the period after the Voice, Johannes realized that his heart was with playing in a band after all. That's why he started the power trio The Bounty Hunters in 2015 with two good friends Hille de Jong and Robin Lammers. This turned out to be a resounding success. In a short period of time this band has many shows to their name including the 'Nacht van Friesland' and the 'Veenhoop-festival' two mega festivals in Friesland. This year Brêgepop and the Heamiel Festival are on the program, as well as performances in numerous marquees and halls.

The Bounty Hunters are currently busy recording their own music. The debut single has the title ''The way back''. The solid rock song was produced by Nico Outhuijse (drummer van de Kast) and recorded in studio The Grien Room in Leeuwarden. The guys from The Bounty Hunters are busy recording their own album.
