The smiling Frans van Dorland was born and raised in Nijmegen and is therefore a true Nijmegen native. As a child Frans was already obsessed with music and came into contact via via with singer and lyricist Henny Thijssen (known for Hazes lyrics), who helped Frans further in the music world. Frans got more regular performances and started to enjoy entertaining audiences more and more. Henny offered Frans to write a song. This resulted in the debut single "Alone" which appeared in 2017. After the success of this debut single it was time for a successor and that resulted in "I've lost my jealousy", featuring again the famous Shadows guitar (Fender), which goes back to the fifties/seventies. That feeling towards those years will certainly be recognizable for many on this single
Frans loves the song of life but his heart is also with the English song, so at gigs he also likes to sing songs by Elvis Presley , Roy Orbinson , Tom Jones , Engelbert Humperdinck and Marty Robbins. In short Frans is an artist of many markets at home.
