SING YOUR TRAY?
Singing is wonderful and singing is healthy! No wonder a lot of people are happy singing! It is a beautiful mixture of inspiration, daring, expression, improvisation and presentation but also technique.
Chaja van der Heide gives private lessons but also workshops and workshops on location (think of companies, teambuilding days)
Suitable for everyone who loves to sing but also for people who have to work a lot with their voice

Do you want to get more out of your voice? I am an enthusiastic and committed qualified CVT singing teacher with a theatre background and a long track record in the pop world. Are you a beginner or have you been singing (semi-) professionally for a long time, with me you are in good hands. #####

WHAT ARE WE WORKING ON IN CLASS? We get to know different voting modes and learn how to use them in the right way. We look at how we can make the voice sound darker or lighter by means of sound colouring. We learn to work with more or less volume and increase the range. If you like, we will work with effects on your voice, such as applying a raw edge without forcing or damaging your voice, or singing with ornamentation.

On the basis of anatomical knowledge, we lay a firm foundation by focusing on breath support and relaxation of the jaw and lips. You will get to know and learn to work with new terms, such as twang, for healthier voice use, better intonation and more carrying capacity. We will learn to improvise and interpret the text to make the transmission of your story even more convincing.

I can also help you with microphone technique, coaching at rehearsals or performances and advise you on the best steps to take to bring yourself or your band to the attention. I would like to use the knowledge and experience I have gained over the past decades to help you further!

COMPLETE VOCAL TECHNIQUE
To master the technical aspects of singing we use Complete Vocal Technique (CVT). This contemporary method, based on anatomy and physiology, is the result of 20 years of thorough research by the Danish Catherine Sadoline. Her systematic and understandable approach has already enabled many singers and vocalists to make great strides in a short period of time.

The beauty of CVT is that it doesn't start from a sound ideal or a certain singing style. All sounds and styles are good, as long as you make them in a responsible and healthy way! With the help of CVT we enlarge your own possibilities according to your own wishes. Even if you don't sing, but use your voice a lot professionally, I can help you to use your voice in a healthy way and to solve or prevent problems. Actors, voice actors, people working in management or education and anyone else who is often involved with his voice are therefore very welcome with me.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
A trial lesson costs 25 euros. Individual private lessons cost 35 euro excluding 21% VAT (42 euro incl. VAT).
With a 4 lesson card you pay 32,50 euro excl. 21% VAT per lesson (39,30 incl. VAT).
Children and youngsters up to the age of 18 are exempt from VAT.
Duo lessons, group lessons and workshops are also possible. A workshop costs on average 15 euro excl. VAT per hour for more than 6 participants. Please contact me for this.

Classes last 45 minutes, unless otherwise agreed. Lessons are given in Amstelveen (Waardhuizen) and in consultation in Amsterdam.
