Timbo and the Water Snake
Timbo is a big elephant from the sweltering heat of Africa, where he lives in a fine herd. Because he has run out of water, he decides to travel to the far north. Along the way he experiences all sorts of adventures and befriends Pedro, the first human being he meets in the northern lands. Pedro's village has plenty of water, and Timbo's friend devises a plan to help all the elephants in Africa get water. Then Timbo begins his return journey, but it is fraught with dangers. Will he manage to save the other elephants?
The performance lasts about 45 minutes. Actor Bram reads aloud and Anne and Melanie accompany the story on their
violins. When the story is exciting, the music is also exciting. When the story is funny, so is the music! Colorful drawings illustrate the story. This performance is excellent for children's parties!
Melanie van Overbeeke (viola) and Anne van Eck (violin) are professional musicians, graduated Master of Music at the Conservatory. Violinist Anne and viola player Melanie (played a.o. with Marco Borsato, Nick & Simon and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra) have previously played music from the movie 'Amélie', an Arabian pop song or a song by Marco Borsato at events and parties.

The violinists finished the wedding. The week before the wedding there were a lot of changing messages about the COVID policy. Fortunately, the violinists were very flexible and had the intention to provide the wedding with beautiful music in spite of all the measures. I will certainly approach them again and advise others to invite them
