Berend Riemersma is a cover artist and Singer/Songwriter from Friesland!

The 28-year-old Berend Riemersma, from Jirnsum, works in the extracurriculars in daily life but his passion lies with music.

At the end of 2015 Berend started writing his own songs and to get more into this he called in the help of Sytse Broersma from De Kast. In recent years he has released an EP and several singles, including 'Wait For Me', 'Traveller', 'Walking Out That Door' and his very latest single "Run Away Together". These songs can be listened to on Spotify, Itunes and Youtube.

In terms of music taste, Berend was born 50 years too late. He is a lover of older repertoire, especially the 50s and 60s appeal to him. He also loves Americana and Country music. During performances you can hear this in songs by Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Hits from the 70s may not be missing, so there is something for everyone.

Berend is a musician in heart and soul and, together with his guitar, can be hired for all kinds of occasions; birthdays, business parties, weddings, opening of a building, nothing is too crazy for him. He finds it important to connect with the occasion and to put down an appropriate repertoire.
