Gentlemen's Agreement originated from the choir "Southern Comfort Barbermates" the barbershop choir from Eindhoven that sings 4 voices with a larger group of men. Our challenge is to do that with 4 men. We sing Barbershop, Close-Harmony, Gospel and Country with a wink.

Gentlemen's Agreement exists for about 12 years, Joep Wijn and Jan Kip have been singing with each other in various quartets, such as "The Four J's" and "Bad Habits". Marcel Bazelmans comes from a musical nest, he grew up with music and with the violin. Mike Verhaart is the youngest addition and has his roots in Jazz. Recently Mike, Marcel and Jan sing in T-SING a brand new Barbershop choir in Tilburg under the inspiring leadership of Michiel Bekker, who has earned his Barershop spurs as conductor of SCBM and as tenor of the champion quartet "Still Crazy".

The repertoire consists of a mix of: Gospel, Barbershop and Close Harmony. All this a-capella, so without accompaniment with smooth up-tempo songs as well as quiet balads.
