Aboriginal art is a special art form. The Aborigines used it to tell their cultural stories. During this workshop we will take you into the past of this art and teach you how to make this beautiful art yourself. Book now the Aboriginal Art painting workshop at ShowBird!

The Aborigines used their Aboriginal art to pass on their cultural stories about creation, their ancestors and the landscape. Their visual language was rich in symbols and was mainly made up of dots and lines.

In this workshop you will create your own Aboriginal artwork. The technique is easy to learn for everyone and gives surprisingly beautiful results. After a short introduction and a traditional Aboriginal story we will start working on a wooden panel. Afterwards you will of course go home with your self-designed and made artwork!

The workshop is open to both adults and children from 7 years and includes coffee, tea and some goodies.
