Greetje was born in the Amsterdam Jordaan. She sings the authentic
Amsterdam songs by a.o. Johnny Jordaan, Aunt Leen, Zwarte Riek,
Willy Alberti, Manke Nelis, Hazes, Wim Sonneveld and many more diverse
styles.

Greetje de Oude was born in Amsterdam and has been playing the accordion since she was 6 years old. She graduated in 1993 as a teacher and performing musician at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. She plays in various music theatre, cabaret, dance and musical productions. She worked for the Film Museum in Amsterdam, Moscow, Bologne and Paris. She composes the music for authentic, restored silent movies. In THE PASSION she played and arranged the song Ken jij mij.
Performance for the Dutch Embassy in Nigeria for King's Day. She was allowed to work in Japan for 3 months as music duo Accorde Vi in Nagasaki. Opened the Rijksmuseum for T.V
In addition, she specializes in playing festive music styles from many countries and she also gives various singing and dance workshops. She often performs with her gypsy duo Accorde Vi (also bookable at ShowBird), the Caribbean band La Bandita and the Amsterdam trio Brokkie Amsterdam. She is part-time teacher at various music schools and conductor of various choirs from Pop- Shanty- to Smartlap.
