Sunroots is a nine-member formation from Groningen and was founded in 2017. They bring a mix of reggae, pop, rock with elements from dub and funk.

The band consists of nine energetic musicians who turn every show into a smashing party. Under the name 'The Rising Sun' the band has given many shows, released two EP's and made video clips. With new faces in the band and their own festival (Sunroots Festival) the next step is to wake up festivals and pop stages under the name 'Sunroots' again
