When she arrives, the European anthem sounds over the heads of the audience. The Queen speaks her speech, which starts spontaneously and yet very seriously. After a few minutes, however, the lady of the court comes up with the idea of translating it into sign language; she does this so absurdly that it appears that the whole room is roaring with laughter.
