Bianca Janssen (1979) was born in Venray. With Limburgs optimism she started at the age of 14 with a side job as a dishwashing aid. She was impressed by the hustle and bustle of the kitchen, the wonderful smells, the beautiful dishes and the fresh ingredients and knew immediately that she would become a cook. From that moment on, Bianca followed various trainings to further develop her passion. She loved to see what's possible in the kitchen, all the fresh ingredients became one big inspiration.

Bianca has always worked at a high level since her education, with restaurant Tout à Fait in Maastricht, which has been awarded a Michelin star, as a highlight. There she grew from chef de parti to sous-chef and gained a wealth of experience, which enabled her to work as a chef in Sittard and to lead a full kitchen brigade for a number of years.
In 2004 she won the prestigious 'Ladies Only competition' of 'Ernest & Julio Gallo'. It was a very exciting competition in which the combination of wine, food and product knowledge was central. Bianca specialised in the classic French cuisine and successfully applied this knowledge in the competition. Bianca can call herself 'Ladychef of the year 2004'.
Later Bianca worked behind the scenes on everything that had to do with 'The Taste of Life', such as recipes, cookbooks, workshops and she presented the 'Vrstip'. Fresh ingredients, surprising preparations and small cooking secrets are the formula for the Verstip. The Verstips inspired Bianca to think beyond traditional French cuisine and to immerse herself in balanced, healthy, fresh meals that are quick and easy to prepare.
Her son Benjamin inspires her even more to make healthy choices every day, which she likes to share with everyone. She loves to be able to do exactly what her heart desires and enjoys conveying this passion to the viewers of 24Kitchen. In De Makkelijke Maaltijd Bianca prepares weekly recipes for the whole family: fast, easy, healthy and without a fight at the table!
