Moving the record back and forth on the beat with a specific rhythm, that's scratching. Your instrument is your turntable with which you create new rhythms and/or melodies.

DJ-Workshop scratch: also fun as part of a culture day. This DJ clinic is of course about scratching. This is a technique where the most important feature is the rhythmic movement of the record back and forth. The turntable is not seen as a turntable but as an instrument to create a new rhythm or a new melody. In addition, DJ mixer (the mixing board) is also an important part: it can be used to manipulate the samples (pieces of sound that are scratched) and cut them into rhythmic pieces (cuts). Of course we close the DJ workshop with a presentation to each other.

This is one of the many workshops you can book. There are various art, music and dance workshops available from beatboxes to movie fighting and from pimping your sneakers to cheerleading. You can also book various shows such as magic show and cabaret shows. The prices mentioned are excluding VAT and travel expenses.

The duration of our DJ workshops can be tailored to any length of time, from stand-alone workshops to complete day workshops. From our experience we like to think along with you. We use a minimum of two hours per day.

Attention: in case of multiple workshops Dj after each other, these should be planned in the same room. Our workshop leader needs to be in the room half an hour before the workshop starts.
SPECIALS: if a performance and/or (final) presentation is applicable, the workshop has to take place in the space where the performance and/or (final) presentation will take place. (Due to the inability to move the connected heavy equipment)
