Dixieland and New Orleans Swing translated to this day and age. The young, sparkling Schoute/Van der Geest Quartet presents the ancient jazz tradition in a modern jacket.
Thijmen graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he met the other members of the quartet. His graduation course was jazz piano in 2015 and included 4 years of classical piano lessons. Besides teaching he plays in various projects as accompanist and soloist.

Recommended! The Adrien Losco Quartet played at our wedding during a Saturday afternoon drink and they really set the right atmosphere. The music is very good and cheerful and sets the tone. On the other hand, everyone can just have their conversation, so it is not too present. The contact beforehand was also very professional and clear, and the group is very flexible and likes to adapt to the schedule so that everything runs smoothly. When we left with a boat, the saxophonist even walked with us for a while and played a nice tune. In short: do you want some great background music for your wedding / party with real musical people? Then be sure to think about booking this quartet, we enjoyed them!
