This very experienced, unique jazz duo is formed by Kristine Knoppers (vocals, mouth piano, percussion, accordion) and Ivo van Scherpenseel (vocals, guitars). They provide the background music during your reception, vernissage, company drink or party, in-outdoor event, wedding, private party.

It is also an ideal duo for quiet and varied background music for restaurants, exhibitions or in combination with other acts, such as theatre. Besides well-known jazz standards (medium swing, ballads, Latin and bossa nova's) they play beautiful chansons and "poppy" songs with a jazzy coating, with a touch of "gypsy" here and there. Clients appreciate their professional quality and styling, smooth communication and flexible setup, both before and during the event.

What makes the musical act of JazzSense so special is the variation in their repertoire, their multilingual vocality and multi-instrumentality. During the atmospheric show it is striking how much they like to feel connected with the audience and the whole ambiance. As a duo they take up little space, which is very suitable for the smaller settings. JazzSense also has a mobile backline, which allows them to move around among your guests if desired, thus giving small, intimate table concerts. The latter is also very suitable for garden or boat concerts and other outdoor situations.
